What To Consider When Choosing Dog Clippers

You have a dog?? You don’t want to regularly schedule for the trip to the groomer just for a bath and haircut?!? Why don’t you buy a dog grooming clipper and do it by yourself? The first time you buy it? Okay, here are some tips may help you with it.

The louder it is, the worse it will

Do you know a clipper with thunderous sound will make it harder for you to groom your dog? Not just inconvenient you but also your dogs.

1. A noisy one will extremely irritate, or another way to say, drives you crazy, make you mad. Believe me; it will be uncomfortable for you to hearing the deafening sound while you grooming your dog.

2. Another reason is dogs are very sensitive, and they might be scared by the sounds of the clippers. To make them “friendly” while growing you will need completely mutual understanding between you and your dog. Try to make them trust you and it will be much easier.

3. The strident sound, also, unpleasant your dog and make them run away. Unless you want to chase your dog around the house, you will need a noiseless one. Choosing it and you will be paid off.

Finding one with appropriate weight and comfortable grip

There is no proper way to measure which weight and grasp are the best for the users, however, you – also the user – need to feel it and experience it on your own. To choose the right one for you, It is better you should try these steps.

1. Hold it in your hand. Is it too heavy, do you think? Is it fit your hand? If it is heavy for you, It absolutely not a good choice, find a clipper that is not that much weighty is the solution.

2. How about it is too big or small for your hand? Well, it is not good. As you groom your dog, you will want to hold it firmly and tightly in your hands. For incident, you may hurt your pets, and believe me; your dog will not like that, the same for you. So bear in mind the good unit has to fit your hand.

3. When you have the one with the perfect grasp and proper weight, which is just half of the way. Image, you will need to deal with your dog for 15 to 30 minutes or even more, meanwhile, your arm get more tired. That is bad because you have not think about it so before choosing a one, you even need a weightless clipper, make sure you consider this problem first.

As long as you can get a clipper suit you with its weight and hold, you find it easy to do it. Maybe, you will love it because you and your dog will have more time together.

No wires? Choosing longest battery life

As you have to use it more than one time, you should spend more money for battery if you choose battery-operated. That decision will save you some bucks. In the long term, you will find it beneficial.

1. The longer battery means that it is not necessary for you to charge it usually or the worst situation, you have to charge it while you are growing.

2. Besides, the battery will last longer, in other words, it will last longer time till the battery is useless. So it is really a good choice to invest money on battery.

Bird Cages for Parrots of All Sizes

Here are some tips for you when you are buying bird cages for parrots.

You are going to want to look for things such as Locks, Bar Spacing, Your Birds Wing Span, Feeders, and many many more.

Lets start with Door Locks.  You want to make sure that your cage has door locks that will keep your Parrot from being the next Houdini.  Parrots are good at picking the locks and letting themselves out.  You will want to look for feeder door locks.  Keep in mind when you are looking for bird cages for parrots that they are very smart and depending on your feeder system, they can empty their feeder, remove it and then escape out the feeder door also.

Parrots can be very messy so you will want to think about how you can minimize this. You can buy skirts to put around the outside of the cage to help keep the mess inside the cage, or when you are shopping for bird cages for parrots,  you can look for the ones that already have a metal one attached to the side of the cage.

Parrots come in different sizes, colors and personalities.  Another thing to look at in bird cages for parrots, is the size of the wing span of your parrot.  You want your bird to have enough room inside the cage to be able to stretch their wings.  So for a parakeet, you can get buy with a smaller cage than you could for a Cockatoo or McCaw.

You can get cages with Dome Tops and with Play Tops.  It is wise to stay away from the Play Tops as this can put your parrot at a level above you and this can cause some problems with training in the future.  They can become difficult and evasive when you are trying to get them to step up on your finger, and can even become aggressive and start biting.  So keep this in mind when you are looking at bird cages for parrots.

One of the most important items you want to be aware of, is the spacing between the bars.  You want to be sure that they are not able to get their head in between the bars.  If the bars are too far apart, they can get their heads caught and this can kill them.  You want the spacing to be smaller than the spacing of their eyes.

Make sure your cage has a grill and a removable tray for cleaning.  You want to be able to clean the cage daily and this will make it much easier. We have a Sun Conure and she has trained herself to stand over a paper bag that we have attached to one end of the cage and she does her “job” in the bag.  This helps tremendously.

Now that we have given you some tips to think about when looking at bird cages for parrots, go out and find the perfect cage for yours and have fun raising it.  Next time we will cover the pros and cons of Decorative Cages.

What Factors can Affect My Dog Diet

There is a fact that every dog is so unique, you can not find your dog looks same as your neighbor’s dog (of course, I don’t mention about the twin dog). It easy to differentiate by the appearance, however, the health, the character needs time to be discovered. How about the diet of dogs? One mistake people usually have is think that all dog should have the same diet. That is totally wrong, your dog diet should depend on activity level, growth, age, your dog look thin or fat, they suit to canned food or a dry one.

Feed your dog base on his daily activities

Your dog walk every day? Are they playing hard? Do they have to care and play with your child? Do they have to protect your house? Or they just lie on the ground and sleep all day.If your dog involved in the activities like the athlete in their training, you should feed him more as he needs more energy to be active as yesterday.

When you do not feed them enough, your dog can not recharge for the energy they have lost, it is not a problem for one or two days. However, in the long run, it is the cause for your dog exhaustion. The situation can be worse if your dog doesn’t have their needed nutrient for a long time, it certainly will lead to the illness.

Growth can be a factor

A puppy will need more energy as they have more activities to do than the older dog. But, remember that puppy’s food should be rich in protein since protein is the essential nutrient for your dog to grow. It supports the dog’s body, helps their body to create more muscles, balances the construction of the body.

For that reasons, you should give your puppy more food. It makes they healthier, grow faster. In this time of life, they will not get overweight as long as they join in the physical activities. Low nutrient for dogs can be the cause of the quality of dog coat and other diseases.

The dog’s age

The older the dog are, the less nutrient they need. It means that you can reduce your old friend food. When the dog gets older they are much less active than the young one. No more walking out, no more playing, they need more rest and quiet.

So when you get an old one, feed their less as they are don’t need much to remain their body. Give they more just make they heavier and slower. And another thing you should notice that is the mature dog food is reduced or not is depend on their sizes too. If your dog size is bigger few times than the puppy, it certainly you should not lessen it.

Your dog they look thin or plump?

Your dog’s food should be adjusted based on appearance, unless you can see the waistline and not too hard to feel the rib of your dog, you will need to cut down their diet. If your dog gains more weight than you want, reduce the calories from 10 to 25 percent. Cutting back the calories doesn’t mean you will decrease the amount of dog’s food. You can choose another way, use the food have the fewer calories.

And, in case you think your dog is too skinny, you can increase the calories by two ways are cited. More food or food rich in nutrient. Hardly it happens, however, if your dog doesn’t want to eat more than usual, the food with more nutrient is your best choice.

Basically, dog food compound of protein, carbohydrate, and fat. If your dog gets fat, try to use the food with low fat (about 8 to 10 percent), in reserve, the food with high fat is about 14-18 percent. Don’t forget that when you choose food for your dog.

Hope that base on these information, you can plan a healthy diet for your dog. Which help them to have a fit body and can recharge all energy after a day with many activities.
